Mui Chong Ki made over a thousand sketches of Hong Kong in the five years leading up to its return to Chinese sovereignty, from 1992 to 1997. They depict various aspects of the changing landscape, from major land development projects and building construction to lesser-known scenic sites around the territory. Featuring a large selection of Mui's drawings and watercolours, this volume bears witness to a period of great transition in Hong Kong history. Includes artist biography.
