Mao Tongqiang's I Have a Dream is an installation comprised of 385 stone tablets engraved with the Tangut translation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1963 speech calling for racial equality. On the gallery walls surrounding the tablets are 210 pages of Tangutologist Li Fanwen's manuscript of King's speech in both Tangut and Kaishu (regular) scripts. Tangut was the language of the Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227 AD).

This catalogue includes samples of Li Fanwen's manuscript and photo documentation of the installation set up. Also featured are texts by Feng Boyi and Ai Weiwei, and a dialogue between the artist and Li Xianting. With artist biography.
