In 2006, Insa Art Space of Arts Council Korea launched a specialized program IASmedia to construct an archive centered on single-channel video works and to distribute them with the aim of revitalizing the video art scene in Korea. The program, based on a long-term development strategy, aims to create a video archive and collection, protect the distribution system of the video and digital video works, and promote domestic and foreign distribution, ultimately providing a refreshing alternative to Korean video art. IASmedia hold IASmedia Screening 2007 at Seoul Art Cinema in November 2007, with the view of looking back on the previous distribution exchange programs and introducing new video art works included in its distribution list. Synopsis of the video works are provided in this catalogue.
