In 2006, Insa Art Space of Arts Council Korea launched a specialized program 'IASmedia' to construct an archive centered on single-channel video works and to distribute them with the aim of revitalizing the video art scene in Korea. 'IASmedia Screening 2008' features new titles for distribution as well as titles from exchange screening programs, including those from MIACA (Moving Image Archive of Contemporary Art) of Japan and imai - inter media art institute of Germany. Synopsis of the video works are provided in this catalogue.
