The present publication accompanies the solo exhibition under the same title of Chinese artist Gu Wenda. Divided into four parts, the exhibition provides a retrospective look into the artist's nearly thirty years' experiments with ink painting:

Please note that this monograph is published in Chinese. A supplementary booklet in English with the same title which includes two translated articles by Huang Zhuan and Gu Wenda is also available in the library (location code: MONS.GWD).

Please also note that the book cover is made with handmade paper and sprinkled ink powder which make each book a unique copy. One of the two copies is signed by the artist.
