As part of the 12th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh, the two-day international seminar was held on March 6 and 7, 2006. Asian speakers included: Prof. Najma Khan Majlis, Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam, Dr. Ahmad Nadalian, Myat Tun Aung, Dr Milan Ratna Shakya, Niilofur Farrukh and Zhang Yi (on behalf of Prof. Wu Xiaojiang). A number of discussants were also invited to comment on the papers presented.
