'The current series of works in this exhibition most of which were executed during the 1970s from an important collection of works which were inspired and imbued with a passion for the education and upliftment of the rural people of Telangana and other districts. The subjects covered by works relate to family values, education of the young, the ideal village, nursing, folk-lore, mythology, politics, civil rights - and are aspects of social and economic life at rural level.'
