On August 7th and 8th, 1999, a public projection by Polish artist Krzysztof Wodiczko was cast upon the Atomic Bomb Dome's wall in Hiroshima. It was a video projection with a sound system that comprised of ten loudspeakers. Interviews with fifteen atomic bomb survivors that lasted for thirty-nine minutes were played each night over these loudspeakers.

The present publication provides details of the project from initial conception to completion, audience interviews and oral histories of the atomic bomb survivors.
