Featured in this video is the pioneer modernist artist Kwong Yeu Ting who has been showing in Hong Kong since the 1960s. Kwong's semi-abstractive and expressionist landscapes which incorporate Chinese motifs such as Chinese gardens, pavilions, buildings and architectural features, reveals the merging of an international style into Chinese art. In this video, views of H.W. Hoppener (Touchstone Gallery) and Johnson T.Z. Chang (Hanart T.Z. Gallery) are solicited regarding Kwong's work and its contribution in the Hong Kong art scene.
