The present exhibition marks the halfway point of the Cemeti Art House residency program, entitled 'Landing Soon', which began in November 2006 and continues until July 2009. In this program, Dutch artists as well as Indonesian artists are 'landing' and meet in Yogyakarta for three months. Here, the local, as well as the global, are researched through different themes, visions, and conditions. Artists are given the opportunity to concentrate on their work, and go into depth by experimenting and interacting with other artists, professionals, and specific communities. This exhibition features the works of artists who participated in Landing Soon #1 through #5.
