This is a small booklet on On Kawara's art work for the Shanghai Biennale 2000. This series of 'Date Paintings' started in 1998 on the occasion of the Sydney Biennale, and has been shown in kindergartens in Australia, Iceland, Europe and Africa before he brought it to Shanghai in 2000.
