This monograph features 57 black and white photographs by Chen Shun-Chu, selected from several hundred rolls of film shot between 1990 and 2010. Although the snapshots bear traces of his daily life and travels, they do not depict specific events or recognizable places and are largely devoid of people. Instead, they feature empty roads and partial views of landscapes, revealing Chen's fascination with abstract shapes, shadows and other details of objects in his immediate surroundings.
With index noting the year and location in which each photograph was taken. Artist's biography and exhibition history included.
