Over Here: International Perspectives on Art and Culture is the 6th volume in the series Documentary Sources in Contemporary Art, first launched in 1984. The present anthology brings together essays by curators, critics and artists from India, Africa, South America, Russia and the Far East, who are working outside of the West and whose perspectives fall outside of a typical Western framework for interpreting and classifying cultural production.

Selected bibliography, reprint sources, index, and information about contributors are provided.
