This special edition DVD digitally documents all the artworks that make up Paul Chan's project The 7 Lights (2005-2007). An evocation on the idea of light, the politics of time, and the promise of disaster, The 7 Lights unfold through a series of interconnected installations, projections, drawings, texts, and collages to evoke a new image of art for the 21st century. Includes video documentation of all the installations, documented animations from the 1/2 Lights, sketches, slideshows of collages and drawings of The 7 Lights, and the audio essay 'On Light as Midnight and Noon' by Paul Chan.
