Plato and His Seven Spirits brought together works by more than 20 artists from China. The concept is based on a cartoon character created by Zhao Tingyang. Named after the Greek philosopher Plato, the character represents a liberal view in visual art. His seven arts/spirits are represented in this exhibition by Flash, Media, Advertisement, Video, Image, Doll and Concept. With CD-Rom, artist biographies, and documentation of dialogue between the artists.
