Subheading:  "Students not allowed to file an FIR Against BJP leader Niraj Jain and his associates who attacked fine Arts Faculty student Chandramohan."  Students gathered around the Sayajigunj police station to submit a written application stating that they wanted to file an FIR (First Information Complaint) against Jain for barging into the faculty without permission and disrupting examinations, and using abusive language.    Vadodara's art fraternity, PUCL, also condemned the incident for suppressing creative expression.  Artists including Gulammohammed Sheikh, Rekha Rodiwittiya, Surendran Nair, Nilima Sheikh, Vasudha Thozhur issued a statement condemning the vandalising of artworks on the pretext of moral policing.
