Commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, The Art School invited Brett Jones (art critic from Melbourne), Manray Hsu (art curator from Taipei), Xu Bing and Gao Minglu, to take part in the Residency Project for International Renowned Visual Artists. During their residency in Hong Kong, a series of workshops, tours, talks, forums and exhibition were held, focusing on the recent development of contemporary Chinese art in its cross-cultural context and Hong Kong's position in the international art scene.

This DVD contains a video recording of the talk (in Mandarin) given by Gao Minglu on 25 July 2003 at Lim Por Yen Film Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Centre.
