Shot in the Face is a multimedia exhibition featuring the works of two Singaporean and two Chinese artists. The title of the exhibition refers to the dilemma of the video camera that can simultaneiously 'shoot' action, and at the same time 'shoot' and wound the person being focused upon. Shot in the Face brings together artists from two countries and their approach to the core themes of history, identity and technology. The present proposal includes biographies of the artists and detailed descriptions of the proposed works.
