Tadu Contemporary Art, is a non-profit art space/gallery that celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2006. Through February 24, 2007, in extension of commemorative spirit, it is showing the works of Kamin Lertchaiprasert, who exhibited at Tadu in 1997. "Sitting (Money) 2004-06" or in the Thai language, "Nang (Ngern) 2547-49" is comprised of 365 small figurative sculptures composed entirely of a papier mache of retired Thai banknotes. His buddha-like figures offer physical evidence of the transient nature of money: 'Here, he is essentially mocking the modern "religion" of materialism and capitalism.'
