Thailand has a pavilion in the 2007 Venice Bienniale. Entitled, "Globalisation...Please Slow Down", the exhibit was conceived by the Apisak Sonjod, director of Tadu Contemporary Art Gallery, and is the third consecutive entry for Thailand in the Venice Biennale. Made up of two installations: Being Sand by Amrit Chusuwan and City of Ghosts by Nipan Oranniwesna, the works are meant to give the viewer reason to pause.
