For Documenta 12 in Kassel Germany, Sakarin Krue-On began planting rice on a hillside in the city of Kassel for his Terraced Rice Fields Art Project, a 7,000 square meter installation. He hopes the rice will be in flower for the start of Documenta in the fall of 2007.
