The seventh edition of the International Ink Art Biennial of Shenzhen, held in three different locations in Shenzhen from December 2010 to January 2011, showcases works by 140 artists from around the world, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Norway, Spain and Sweden.
Published in conjunction with the biennial, the present catalogue comprises six volumes, one of which being a compilation of essays, and the other five accompanying the corresponding sections of the event - 'A New World of Brushwork', 'New Media with Traditional Thought', 'The New Faces of Ink', 'Com(ic)media on Line, and 'Hong Kong Ink Art'.
