Sakarin Krue-On is the first Thai artist to participate in Documenta, the world's biggest exhibition of contemporary art. 
For his "Terraced Riece Fields Art Project," he is growing rice on 7,000 square meters on a hillside below Schloss Wilhelmshoehe Castle in Kassel, Germany,  the site of Documenta 12 (2007).
