This book and its accompanying exhibition is the result of a research project studying temple painting in Cambodia. The story of Sovannasam Cheadok is chosen as the theme. Cheadok is the Khmer language term for Jataka, the stories telling the former lives of the Buddha. While there are many Jataka stories, this book limits itself to the story of Sovannasam (the third Jataka of the Ten Jataka). With research, writing and translation by Ly Daravuth, Ingrid Muan, Preap Chanmara, San Phalla and Lim Van Chan.
