This book features Geeta Kapur's essay on the work of Richard Bartholomew, a Burmese-born poet, art critic and amateur photographer, and his son Pablo, a photojournalist. Richard's photographs show glimpses into his domestic life as well as the Indian art community which he was an active participant, while those taken by Pablo form a visual diary of his youth, reflecting his cosmopolitan-bohemian upbringing and engagement with the fringes of society. Earlier versions of this text appeared in various publications. Author's biography is included.
