From March 9 to May 6, 2001, an exhibition entitled "Translated Acts: Performance and Body Art from East Asia" took place in Berlin's Haus Der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures). In the accompanying program, the curator of the exhibition, Yuyeon Kim answers questions by Michael Thoss of the Haus Der Kulturen der Welt to explain the genesis of the exhibition, and the role of performance art in East Asia today.
