Part of a long-term artist residency project, the 2011 Gunsan Art Residency Programme invites 12 Korean artists and artist groups to engage in the cultural enhancement of the city of Gunsan. At the end of the 8-month residency period, the artists present a collaborative exhibition, featuring artworks with a social and environmental conscience. The catalogue for this project includes photographs from the exhibition, artist biographies, and a commentary on the Gunsan Art Residency Programme.
