Featured on this CD-ROM is the exhibition Utama- Every Name in History is I - Film and Paintings by Ho Tzunyen at Substation, Singapore. The artist Ho Tsunyen explains his quest to unravel the mystery behind Singapore’s mythical founder: 'There is currently a cult of Raffles in Singapore – we have Raffles Institution/Place/Hotel/City, and surely every Singaporean must have seen sculptures and portraits of the man. For Utama however, there is only uncertainty and silence. I thought that the month of August, which is also the period of our National Day, would be a good time to think about the origins of our identity, by presenting a short film and a series of paintings on Sang Nila Utama.'
