The present publication was published on the occasion of Bangladeshi artist Runa Islam's solo exhibition at Dunkers Kulturhus in Helsingborg, Sweden in which she presented her new film project, Visages & Voyages. Other film and video works produced by the artist are also featured here, together with essays written on the the art of Islam from the perspectives of art history, film as a medium, as well as the contextualisation of her work within the shrinking boundaries between today's art and the New Cinema. The essays are provided in both English and Swedish unless otherwise stated. Artist's biography is provided.
