Catalogue of joint exhibition held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok in 2008. 'Will Not Cry in Public' is a media based art exhibition by yield, a group of young artists: Olan Netrangsi, Pathompon Tesprateep, and Sathit Sattarasart, all graduated from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Art. Born in 1970s and share interest in independent film, alternative music and culture, these three artists are actively involved with young independent film and video makers based in Bangkok. This exhibition focuses on public and private issues, control/yield, and fiction/reality. The artists expressed their individual concern on the different levels and dimensions of social structure and media propaganda. Artist biographies are provided in the catalogue.
