This is the catalogue for Chun Kwang Young's solo exhibition at Kukje Gallery from 15 October to 18 December 2005. The exhibition showcased sculptures in Korean Mulberry paper, using the technique of wrapping and assembling. As said by Oh Kwang Su in his essay, ' The basic concept of Kwang Young Chun's art is closely related to two fundamental sentiments of Koreans; wrapping and assembling. Wrapping indicates an act of packing up objects with a piece or cloth, while assembling refers to gathering objects in one place. In order to get a grasp of Chun's art, it is necessary to inquire into the lives of ancient Koreans.' With artist biography and a list of public and private collections.
