Catalogue of Mao Yi Gang's solo exhibition at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong in 2005. As in his earlier series on Guilin mountain landscape, Mao Yi Gang once again explores his affinity with nature, and masterfully integrates the technical languages of the Eastern and the Western landscape tradition into his work. The present exhibition features Mao Yi Gang's new series of paintings based on his experiences of the gardens and canal towns of Suzhou in Southern China.
