This is the monograph of the Beijing artist Ye Dongsheng. His body of work includes ink painting, photography and print. The works presented in this publication were created in the period 1992-2000. An introduction is written by art critic Zhang Zhaohui examining his photography and experimental ink painting vis-a-vis the development of visual culture in China. An artist’s biography is also included.
