Meeting Point Between Thailand — Vietnam

This is a translation of the newspaper article from Vietnamese into English by the project team of AAA.

Written by Lan Chi, the article was originally published in Sai Gon Tiep Thi on 6 June 1998. It features 'Meeting Point - Workshop of Thai & Vietnamese Artists', organised by the Blue Space Contemporary Arts Center in Dalat from 24-31 May 1998.

The participants of the workshop include seven artists from Thailand: Chumpon Apisuk, Montien Boonma, Sriwan Janehuttakarnkit, Kamol Phaosavasdi, Vasan Sitthiket, Natee Utarit and Nitaya Ueareewarakul; and eleven Vietnamese artists: Nguyen Thi Dam Thuy, Do Hoang Tuong, Tran Van Thao, Do Xuan Tinh (Ho Chi Minh City), Pham Ha Hai, Diep Quy Hai, Tran Hau Yen The (Hanoi), Turong Be, Le Thua Tien (Hue), Ta Thi Anh Hong (Vinh Long) and Nguyen Thai Tuan (Dalat). 

Artworks of the participating artists were displayed in the exhibition, Meeting Point Thailand – Vietnam, from 3 June 1998 for 10 days at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum.
