The series is based on the game 'piko' (hopscotch). It was included in the exhibition 'Five Girls: Chaos and Alarm' curated by Roberto Chabet at The Pinaglabanan Galleries from June 8 to July 16, 1989. Other artists in the exhibition are Francesca Enriquez, Binggay Caguiat, Karen Flores, and Isabel Limpe. The five artists were all students of Roberto Chabet at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts (UP CFA).
