Chapter entitled 'Creative Non-Fiction: On Angel Flores,' from Ramon Katigbak's book, Becoming a Guru: An Introduction to Advanced Research, published by Anvil in 2008.

The chapter includes the article, 'Homage to Angel Flores', written by Katigbak and Benjamin Bautista, which was first published by Nation magazine on 11 January 1971. It also describes in detail some of Flores' works: The Perfumed Garden; Baby, Sheila, Baby; and the zipper paintings, entitled Homage to Fontana

In 'Afterword: What and Why Is Truth?,' Katigbak concludes by admitting that Angel Flores was an 'elaborate hoax, a (successful) fictional creation by a group of friends (who) convinced the general public and the artistic community that a significant new Filipino artist had been discovered.'
