A painting by Vu Dan Tan featuring the artist himself and his grand piano. Vu Dan Tan was an accomplished pianist and composer. This work was possibly made to commemorate his grand piano which he had to sell off for money.

This painting is among the early works by Vu Dan Tan in the 1970s and 1980s. The collection from this period ranges from drawings and paintings to masks made of natural or recycled materials.
