This publication accompanies an exhibition of contemporary ceramics, which illuminates the tradition and legacy of Gyeonggi province's ceramic heritage. 27 ceramic artists are included in the exhibition, as well as a video installation, Shaping the Future with Earth, by the late Nam June Paik. The exhibition ran from 24 April through 5 July 2009 in the exhibition hall of the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art (formerly called Gyeonggido Museum of Art).
