Alwin Reamillo presented the Mang Emo + Mag-himo Grand Piano Project, a commemorative installation with the aim to explore "the transformative possibilites of transcultural mobility, cross-cultural collaboration and exchange, creative empowerment, and the development of new communities." The project is also an homage to Reamillo father, Mang Emo (Decimo Zabala Reamillo), who cofounded the now defunct Javincello piano company. Involving three pianos, whale imagery, and pianists, Reamillo explored the themes of migration and diaspora. The installation moved from the Cultural Center of the Philippines to Galleria Duemila in Pasay City.
