This is the catalogue for the exhibition 'All Are Guests', first presented as part of the Liverpool Biennial 2012 to showcase Hong Kong contemporary art in Europe under the theme of 'hospitality'. It was also brought to Taipei as part of Hong Kong Week in 2013. Now returning 'home' to Hong Kong, the exhibition features three sets of works by Hong Kong artists examining their own sense of self in relation to the city, in light of the intricate yet subtle host-guest dynamics of contemporary society. Furthermore, the poet Ye Si (Leung Ping-Kwan) was invited to respond to the artists' works with his modern Chinese poetry and playful juxtapositions of images and text.

With an introduction by Eve Tam, artist statements, and profiles of participating artists/art groups. The response poems by Ye Si and their English translations are also included in the publication.
