The National Art Studio Changdong & Goyang has been under the management of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea since 2002. Over these years, 150 artists have participated in IASK (International Artists Studio Program Korea) Changdong & Goyang offered by the studio. The fundamental object of IASK is to evoke the interaction among artists whose lively discussions might lead to the production of creative artistic discourses. It also aims to provide artists with a challenging and experimental environment so that they can discover novel possibilities for their art. The joint exhibition Con-terminal held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul) features works by 13 Korean artists who have participated in the residency program and have been working actively in a variety of art genres both in Korea and abroad. The present catalogue includes artist biographies and detailed information about IASK. Please note that a DVD (CD.000499) with a documentary video about the exhibition is also available in the library.
