'Drawing Out Conversations: Taipei' is the third installment of a visual arts exhibition series that serves as a platform for artists to explore the limits and potentiality of drawing in both traditional and contemporary contexts. Beyond presenting drawing as a primary medium of expression, this exhibition explores artists' multi-faceted relationships with drawing as a muse, thinking tool and subject to be revisited in other art forms such as sculpture, animation, performance and installation. 'Drawing Out Conversations' was held previously in Singapore and Hong Kong.
This catalogue was published on the occasion of the aforementioned exhibition at Nanhai Gallery, National Taipei University of Education, Taipei, 20 June – 24 July 2010. Includes artist biographies and statements.
