Catalogue published on the occasion of Singapore's fourth participation in the Venice Biennale. For this edition of the Biennale, the Singapore Pavilion showcases a trans-generational survey of Singapore's recent contemporary art history and practice through the works of four accomplished artists, namely Da Wu Tang, Vincent Leow, Jason Lim and Zulkifle Mahmod. Entitled Figments, Fictions and Fantasies, the exhibition draws upon and emphasizes the sensorial, imaginative and intuitive aspects that have marked certain directions in Singapore contemporary art. Images of works in the catalogue are accompanied by individual texts and artist biographies.
