The 'Fotanian Open Studio' is an annual event that brings together artists and art lovers who transformed industrial lofts into art studios. With the migration of industries to the Mainland, Hong Kong local creative have started to take refuge in the spacious lofts of vacant industrial buildings since 2000. In the 11th edition of 'Fotanian Open Studio,' around 180 artists throw open their doors in several consecutive weekends to welcome the general public. The accompanying catalogue provides an overview of participating artists and their studios. With artist interviews and essays by Kurt Chan, Oscar Ho, Leung Chi Fung and others.
