Context
Founded in 2000, TC284 is both an artist group as well as an exhibition space based in Taipei. At the time of TC284's establishment, the only alternative art spaces available were IT PARK and Bamboo Curtain Studio, which had inspired a group of emerging artists to create TC284. According to its website, TC284 believes firmly in the spirit of 'self-improvement' as the manifestation of their collective conscious.
