This publication project “Ingat” starting from the summer of 2022, I am grateful to have met the team from diverse backgrounds, to explore and discuss various aspects, such as contents, book design, editing, and production. This is an important work produced and published together by migrant domestic workers living and working in Hong Kong, with poems and photographs reflecting their perspectives and emotions. While these women share their experiences of departure and homesickness, they also shed light on the ongoing issue of human trafficking in the world today, the injustice situations that had been facing which remains largely unnoticed in many developed cities.
