Kamin Lertchaiprasert was a Thai artist originally trained in print-making and photography. He spent the years 1987-1991 in New York, and returned to Thailand in 1992. Lertchaiprasert's search for the meaning of life and the role of art in society is often reflected in his works.

The present publication was produced for the solo exhibition of Lertchaiprasert, showcasing the installation piece entitled Problem-Wisdom which consists of 366 papier mache sculptures produced on a daily basis by the artist in the course of 2 years, from 1993-1995. Translation of the 366 inscriptions are provided. An introduction of the installation (entitled) is written by Suhanya Raffel and Dionissia Giakoumi.
