This article, written on the occasion of the exhibition Colours of East and West: Paintings by Lin Fengmian in the collection of Linus W. L. Cheung held at the University of Hong Kong Museum and Art Gallery, recites anecdotes of late artist Lin Fengmian who has spent his life in Hong Kong in his old age.
