This is a catalogue of the solo exhibition of Chinese artist Liu Haisu at City Hall in Hong Kong, 1988, showcasing Liu's retrospective works in the eighties. It consists of 74 monochrome and colour plates, transcending from Chinese ink and wash painting to Western oil painting, Liu's bold brushlines with sharp contrasting colours and well adjusted balance of light and shade can be seen. A brief introduction on the artist is included.
