This book is published on the occasion of the National Pavilion United Arab Emirates' exhibition, 'Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim: Between Sunrise and Sunset', at the 59th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia in 2022. Curated by Maya Allison, the exhibition presents the artist's biomorphic sculptures that cluster in undulating color and movement—evoking bodies, mutation, and metamorphosis, to highlight the overarching theme of the Biennale, The Milk of Dreams. This theme questions the representation of bodies and their metamorphoses, and the connection between bodies and earth.

With numerous essays, interview with the artist, documentation of previous works, and a biographical timeline.
